Is this really one half of the earth?

You can clearly see Antarctica and Africa. Shouldn't there at least Europe be visible? It looks like the photo was taken from a position where one is unable to see the whole half of earth. --Pohli 80.144.82.103 17:41, 14 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You can never see half of the Earth from any angle. The curvature of the earth will always obscure the extremity. In this pic however, its perfectly reasonable for none of Europe to be visible (try looking at a globe of the earth yourself).--Nilfanion 00:13, 15 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
