How can this image possibly be considered public domain due to expiration of copyright in any jurisdiction, given that the artist, George Grie, was born in 1962? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.20.39.141 (talk • contribs)

That would be very good, if true. But note that the Wikipedia entry for the page itself contradicts that, stating: "This image (or other media file) is in the public domain because its copyright has expired." I believe that's very different from being granted permission to use, or it being put into the public domain. It might be wise for someone to check, and clarify the text. It's a wonderful piece of artwork.
