Maps, which are actually maps of population density[edit]

I think it would be preferable to normalize the data on population density, in order to access the actual disease prevalence...

My thoughts exactly. Now it looks like the disease is more prevalent in the biggest countries (Russia, China, India, Brazil), while my guess is that those countries have roughly the same per capita rate as other smaller nations in the same respective regions.
