Don't necessarily agree with giving most of the Tenasserim coast to Burma[edit]

Chris Baker mentions that a portage route existed and was a vital source of trade for Ayutthaya through the peninsula, with a large period of peace in the 17th and early 18th centuries indicating that Ayutthaya was in control of much of the coast line for much of Ayutthaya's history. I agree that this territory tended to flip flop, but unless a source states that this portion was controlled by Burma for an extended period of time in 1400, I think the edit should be reverted. The current border matches the current Thai-Burmese border, which did not exist until the late 18th century. Yourlocallordandsavior (talk) 10:24, 10 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
