Hi, i think the position of the articulation point is wrong. It must be more forward, otherwise the front wheels would lift off. As far as I can see this drawing represents a simple articulated locomotive. The front cylindres should be bigger than the rear ones. Anyhow,if the steam flow is not shown you can't understand the Mallet system. [Timestamp "12:28, 16 June 2013‎ 90.2.143.152]

The section en:Mallet locomotive#Articulation describes the mechanics behind the swivel point of the Mallet engine. I am happy that this is properly represented in the diagram (unless you want a bearing added). Martinvl (talk) 21:37, 12 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]
