This image is in fact incorrect -- the thumbs should be more separate from the fingers and thumbs should be touching each other. Can someone post a better one?

This appears to be an image of a single hand that has been flipped in mirror image. The only way I can find to position ones hand's so that the arms converge at the bottom with thumbs together as in the picture is if the forearms are crossed with the palms facing oneself ...

Mirror Image[edit]

I didn't make the image, but yes, it is ONE hand mirrored to create the effect of two hands. (And yes, the position of the hands is incorrect). In the post above, the commenter opines about how, "...the only way I can find to position one's hands..." and then describes a need to cross one's forearms to get this effect with TWO hands. BUT the poster neglects the most important part of that scenario. The camera would have to be held in the photographer's TEETH and presumably the tongue would be used to press the shutter button (because both hands are IN the picture). So, don't fault the person who at least made an attempt to provide a picture of Kohanic Hands. -- Joe Hepperle
