Why is this picture blurred? -- unsigned comment by Special:Contributions/2602:306:3BD8:5E30:51C1:CB0C:C61B:583F

That's what I wondered too. I also wondered why such edits would be made without the reasons being clearly tagged and recorded. There's no record of why the image was blurred/pixelated or that anyone beside the uploader ever thought it was required. If the reviewer thought it was necessary it is strange that no notice or review was included on the image page or this talk page.

When I asked on the Guardians of The Galaxy (film) article why such a low quality image was being used [1] the uploader responded and said that it was pixelated to remove the copyrighted logos, on the basis of De_minimis. -- 109.79.190.97 20:33, 28 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

(To partly reiterate my other comments) I would suggest cropping the image to 2500x2000 to remove the logos at the top of the screen, something like this https://imgur.com/a/ZRc7zfY the faces of the people and the film being promoted are the point of the photo so blurring or pixelating them seems counter productive. -- 109.78.193.37 04:42, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@CapnZapp: I am not disputing the placement of this notification. I also agree this is not the ideal image and a higher quality would be preferable. However, you cannot possibly think that this language represents a neutral point of view. I urge to restore the wording to a more neutral tone. Thank you.
