Date of this poster[edit]
What is the date of this poster? It is unlikely to be 'between 1939 and 1945' (the Second World War) as is suggested, or that it was 'created by a commissioned military artist during their active service duties in the First World War'. The UK had conscription from 1939 to 1960 so why advertise for volunteers? The use of photography in advertising dates from the 1960s. Can I suggest a much later date than WWI (clearly wrong) and is not from WWII.
