doesn't Norway got ANY relations with Palestine? And the US have? 188.113.91.110 23:16, 5 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

New Zealand[edit]

In the case of New Zealand ("Recognition of only Israel") I do not think this map fairly represents its position, and this case illustrates the difficulty of this kind of map.

New Zealand votes for UN motions such as "Permanent sovereignty of the Palestinian people in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem".[1] However on recognition it takes the technical position "In the case of a future Palestinian state, recognition will be considered when the Palestinian leadership has formally declared statehood. It has not yet done this."[2] So this chart is reflecting the particular legal view of NZ to statehood, not its attitude. I don't think the typical viewer of this map will appreciate that. Euromediterranean Partnership[edit]

Most EU countries (EU-15 and a few more) and the Palestinian Authority are partners in the w:Euromediterranean Partnership. So it is hard to see how any of those EU countries do not have "some relations to Palestine". Rwendland (talk) 17:04, 24 September 2009

But it's not a bilateral relationship. In that case, we could say Libya and Israel have some relations although the first ones don't even recognize their existence. --23:53, 25 September 2011 (UTC)

Singapore's colour is incorrect[edit]

Singapore has relations with Palestine, but doesn't recognise it. However Singapore has hoped for a two-state solution.

Singapore should be Light Blue — Preceding unsigned comment added by Trashhead69 (talk • contribs) 03:58, 10 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Bhutan[edit]

Established diplomatic relations with Israel. Should be corrected in the map. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2A02:ED0:6D68:B800:555:188A:F1D1:531E (talk) 06:15, 31 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No data[edit]

Two problems:

  1. "no data" is incorrect. There is data. The data is that the relevant areas are not diplomatic entities, being either dependencies or Antarctica. The correct label would be "not applicable"
  2. The colours for "no data" and "Recognition of both Israel and Palestine" are too similar. It looks as though the Falkland Islands recognises both.

East Timor & Singapore fix[edit]

1. East Timor should be peach as it recognizes both Israel and Palestine

2. Singapore should be light blue as they have established a representative office in Ramallah.[1] Underdwarf58 (talk) 10:40, 22 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Underdwarf58: Don't change Somalia's borders when you are updating this map. @M.Bitton: (I think that was the issue they were talking about.) Abzeronow (talk) 00:04, 16 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
