Main problem here[edit]
The lions should be facing forward. SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:37, 16 February 2024 (UTC)
- As far as I’m aware the blazon of his shield do not specify that the lions should be looking toward the observer. On another note, the word “main” alludes to there being other issues. Do you have any other issues with this file?

- The original was drawn exactly from the only known version we have in Ättartal för Swea och Götha konungahus by J. F. Peringskiöld, Stockholm, 1725, as specified on that page. I do not known what your (different?) source could be for what you call "the blazon of his shield". Great that the lions were redrawn nicely! I would have loved to see them more like the orignal published by Johan Peringskiöld. For me, that could have been achieved by having them facing forward. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 14:09, 17 February 2024 (UTC)
- Thank you for the compliment and yes in the original the lions' faces look toward the viewer. I couldn't find any existing .svg resources which both looked good and had the lions facing the viewer, I could create one but it would take some time. What I was referring to was the blazon, the heraldic description, but I don't know if we have one for his shield. I just assumed that if a blazon existed, it wouldn't specify the way the directions of the lions' head, so the current version of this file would technically be correct, though I agree with you that a version where the lions face the viewer would be optimal. Waited a month for this to be fixed. Nothing happened. Wrote to user. Nothing happened. Have added error info to page now & will soon request move to File:Incorrect heraldic achievement of Eric X of Sweden.svg unless I see some action. --SergeWoodzing (talk) 15:34, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
