Questionable data:[edit]

UNAIDS lists Jamaica having 1.5% prevalence and Haiti with 3.8%, yet they are both colored red.

the new file rectifies this problem. --Grcampbell 18:28, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Source needs clarification[edit]

For two years it's just been pointing to the unaids.org homepage. Louis Waweru  Talk  12:18, 24 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've updated the description with a link to the new 2008 report, hope that helps. Sbw01f (talk) 20:01, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Spain should be light green[edit]

The UN report gives an estimated number of people living with HIV in Spain as 140,000 in 2007. The country population in the same year was 45,200,737. Simple maths would produce a percentage of just over 0.3%. I would amend the map myself but have no software to do so. --Asterion (talk) 19:46, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It's the estimated number of people aged 15-49 who have HIV, like the source says. Sbw01f (talk) 02:43, 19 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Spain and Switzerland colour should indeed be light green. As per UNAIDS 2008 report, the HIV prevalence - Ages 15-49 - is 0.4%.
