Usage[edit]

Hello Graham: This is a fabulous image. I posted it on my blog, poetsofcommerce.blogspot.com, as an illustration of mind-mapping. Now I'd like to use it on my copywriting site (susancarrollcreative.com, which I use to promote my copywriting service).

May I use it? I would credit it to you and provide a link to your site, if you like. If so, please reply to queenblogalina@gmail.com

Thanks[edit]

Hi Aranya I use your splendid mindmap in teaching research skills to students, with proper attribution to you in the referencing of course. Hope you are happy with this. Gill G --143.167.114.152 08:10, 20 August 2008

Quality[edit]

This is not a good example mindmap. Because of the low resolution and esoteric subject matter, is not clear what it is about. It would be better to use a simpler and clearer example. --199.166.207.144 19:54, 28 August 2008

I admit, the resolution is pretty low. But i was unable to discover a second source with a higher resolution until now. Even if found it would still need checking back with the creator for licensing. (you might know, some people give away small resolution images for free whilst reserving a few rights like poster printing for their high res variants.) At least having a handle to the author and his friend seemed nice to me. With this idea in mind I found this web page including this PDF flyer with a person profile on the web. This might be of some help if ever a higher resolution pops up. The mind map contents might get a little bit more clear now with those backgrounder. (Before i was not even sure if someone was drawing a love letter or just developing some computer gamie idea - it might be a map of that is visualizing some topic of an esoteric nature.) Some/many mind maps are getting complex over development time. As mind maps are the result of brainstorming they are often improving clearness only after the 2nd or later iteration. Simple mind maps are a bit "useless" since they do not really grow the concentration of knowledge on and understanding of a subject that much. The principle of mind maps is about placing parents/childs and brothers/sisters relationships in the right way thus forming a bigger entity, one thats value is bigger than the sumarized value of its stand alone components. Having structure merged in means reducing complexity by unfolding and improved access. --Alexander.stohr (talk) 11:33, 15 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Can a higher resolution image be added? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 192.28.65.212 (talk • contribs) 08:59, 3 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
