accuracy of this map[edit]

Suggestion for the key[edit]

May I suggest a small improvement? I think it would make sense, in the key, to reverse the positions of "Ridge and Valley" and "Great Valley." That would provide a correspondence between the key and how the features appear on the map. That correspondence is already there everywhere, except for those two items. I know I was having a bit of trouble making sense of things, until I realized I was looking at the two features the wrong way (I was considering the Great Valley as being in between the Ridge and Valley and the Plateau; it's the other way). 108.45.29.191 01:49, 14 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I agree, so the new order in the legend you suggest is the following, right?:
or acording to the map (above=north, down=south):

name "Northern Highlands"[edit]

By the way: What are the so called Northern Highlands? --W like wiki (talk) 11:11, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Adirondacks[edit]

Are the Adirondacks really part of the Appalachians? Just compare with:

Generally[edit]

Before we change any order of the key what about the content of this map, I mean for example the location of the Blue Ridge Mountains:

Or what about the location of the Escarpments? The article about the Allegheny Front says it is between plateau and Ridge-and-Valley not between Ridge-and-Valley and Great Valley.

Thanks to its author the map looks graphically so nice, hopefully the content is correct too. Cheers, --W like wiki (talk) 13:23, 3 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
