Other errors

[edit]

@Alexis Jazz: assuming that you still have access to your original image, can you also annotate the following errors?

  1. "WE" at the start of the section title - unclear pronoun reference
  2. "WE" near the start of the second line of text - same issue
  3. Run on sentence - first sentence goes from "EXPECTE" to "KATHERINE MAHER"
  4. The "AKA"s following "META.WIKIMEDIA" are incorrect
  5. No signature or timestamp

Thanks, --DannyS712 (talk) 17:42, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@DannyS712: Ha! Thanks. Updated. I'm grading it like an English assignment, so the AKA's being factually incorrect doesn't matter. (if I have to grade everything that's factually incorrect, I might as well fill the whole image with red..) As I'm grading it like an assignment, a signature/timestamp would be out of character. But our students do need to close their letters properly, so I did add that. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 18:26, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexis Jazz: I looked at the last revision you uploaded - it looks identical... --DannyS712 (talk) 18:28, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: Refresh/empty your cache? - Alexis Jazz ping plz 18:42, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexis Jazz: nope :( - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/0/0f/Grading_a_wikivandal%2C_F.png and https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/archive/0/0f/20191005182315%21Grading_a_wikivandal%2C_F.png look identical --DannyS712 (talk) 20:26, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DannyS712: They also have the same resolution and "Files are available under.." text at the bottom? Because the new upload is really different. You can see on the file page that it changed from 1164 pixels width to 1170. If you are still seeing the 1164 pixels wide image, even with a different browser/device, maybe its a bug somehow? - Alexis Jazz ping plz 21:07, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Alexis Jazz: I tried in incognito mode, and the difference was clear, but for my account it still has no difference. Anyway, thanks --DannyS712 (talk) 21:44, 5 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Just a simple joke.

[edit]

Remove the parts with thicker text.

  1. (Redacted)
  2. Wikipeedia
The first one is near the three question marks, while the second one is the word with the crossed out E. Calvinkulittc 06:58, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I understood that very well. As a grading teacher, I refused to understand it. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 16:44, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Why a license review tag?

[edit]

@Majora: Why did you add a license review tag to it? This was not posted to an external site. Was it? Masum Reza📞 07:45, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Masumrezarock100: Because I requested it. The source is a page revision that is no longer publicly visible. (it was at the time of upload though) - Alexis Jazz ping plz 16:45, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Suggestion

[edit]

Add "potential legal issue" to the word that comes after the last AKA. Calvinkulittc 07:42, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

No. - Alexis Jazz ping plz 16:46, 30 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]
