There is a problem - some claim this is The Gnostic "Gospel of Peter" (see http://www.ultimatebiblereferencelibrary.com/DeadSeaScrolls.html) --Mladifilozof (talk) 18:27, 26 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It most certainly is not; it is a fake restoration of the gospel of Thomas, and even contains errors. This allegedly is the upper part of leaf 51 of Nag Hammadi Codex II, of which the original can be found at CCDL: https://ccdl.claremont.edu/digital/collection/nha/id/2842 or https://ccdl.claremont.edu/digital/collection/nha/id/2705 (right page) Sato21st (talk) 02:37, 7 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

This is likely not free use[edit]

The reason given that this image is not copy protected, is because the "author is over 100 years old". and the author given is of the text, not the image. Since the Nag Hammadi texts were found in 1945 (give or take 5 years), the image cannot be 100 years old or older.
