The illustration is not merely inaccurate, it is laughable.[edit]

The curved net thingy is not only nothing like the inverse square law of gravity, suddenly becoming flat just about one earth radius away from the earth, it is laughable, an insult to the intelligence. This is because the amount of curvature of space will minimal for a small mass like the earth. The curvature shown is for a something like a neutron star just below the mass needed to become a black hole. Absurd. Fine for a YouTube thumbnail I guess, but, I think, highly inappropriate for an encyclopedia. Polar Apposite (talk) 23:37, 5 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
