Flag ratio[edit]

Is the 1:1 ratio still correct? I'm seeing a lot more examples nowadays of a more 3:5/rectangular style ratio, e.g. here, here, here, or here. Of course these examples could always be erroneous, as you do still sometimes see the more traditional 1:1, e.g. here. Thoughts? MrPenguin20 (talk) 23:40, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

In case of a terrorist organisation, you cannot really define a fixed ratio...--Antemister (talk) 08:59, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Oh I definitely agree and get your point in that there is unlikely to be any kind of official aspect ratio. Having said that though there is likely to be a more commonly used type of the flag. I'll take a look on ISIS literature. MrPenguin20 (talk) 17:38, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The basic flag design is associated with a loose ideological alignment, not necessarily one specific group only. See the other linked files for slight variants... AnonMoos (talk) 22:55, 9 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Anon, Penguin, Ante, I've uploaded a version with a more rectangular aspect ratio here. Hope you guys like it; if you feel like making any adjustments to it, please feel free to do so. Cheers! Illegitimate Barrister 17:25, 14 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Quality[edit]

It looks like someone just did a vector trace of an image.. The round white field in the center has several flat edges which are incorrect and imply a poor quality trace. Hopefully someone can come up with a better version. --Wstn (talk) 05:13, 6 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Dead link to Bundesanzeiger[edit]

The Bundesanzeiger link is dead, apparently it needs session information. What did it point to? --134.169.170.134 16:03, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
