My apologies for the error in the rename. The reason was someone had posted on the page "*Since it not only refers to the Viceroyalty of New Spain (but also to the Viceroyalty of Peru), it should be renamed." which seems a valid concern.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 02:29, 12 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
