suggestion for possible improvement[edit]

This "suggestion for possible improvement" is in regard to (it is "about") the both the name ("Author") and the value ("Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum 4079 Albany Post Road Hyde Park, NY 12538") of the field currently labeled as "Author" in the "Summary" section of this version -- (the "18:29, 6 March 2014‎" version) -- of the file known as (the file "at" the URL) https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Einstein_Szilard_p1.jpg .

separation of sub-fields[edit]

This field (the field labeled as "Author" in the "Summary" section) has 3 sub-fields:

  1. The "name" (of the museum) sub-field:
  2. The "address" (of the museum) sub-field:
  3. The "city, state, and ZIP code" (of, the address of the museum) sub-field:

  • The "name" sub-field currently has a value of "Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum".
  • The "address" sub-field currently has a value of "4079 Albany Post Road".
  • The "city, state, and ZIP code" (of, the address of the museum)" sub-field currently has a value of "Hyde Park, NY 12538".

IMHO It would (it might) help the reader, if there were some kind of clear demarcation provided (such as extra space, or a "line break") between each one of these 3 sub-fields and the next (the neighboring sub-field).

Is there disagreement about that? If so, is the disagreement because [it is assumed that] the reader already knows where the boundaries are, between these 3 sub-fields? ...OR, is the disagreement [if any] because [it is assumed that] the reader does not have any need to know where the boundaries are, between these 3 sub-fields?

Is there any other objection, (besides the possible "disagreement" about the benefits of "separation of sub-fields") to making a change, to clarify where the boundaries are [between the 3 sub-fields] - ? -

incorrectness of the name of the field [now] labeled as "Author"[edit]

The field labeled as "Author" in the "Summary" section now has a value of:

"Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum 4079 Albany Post Road Hyde Park, NY 12538"

That field name ("Author") is, IMHO, false and misleading. It is clear from the contents of the ".jpg" file (and the accompanying "page 2" ".jpg" file) that the two documents together, constitute a letter from Albert Einstein to President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

Because of that fact, it seems that the actual author -- the person who composed or "wrote" this letter -- was Albert Einstein -- not the "Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum".

It seems more correct to say that the owner of the piece of paper (or, two pieces of paper, for both pages of the letter) is [the] "Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum", while the author [of the letter] was actually Albert Einstein.

(right?)

So, I would like to suggest, that the either the field value should be changed from [that long character string, "blockquote"d above, starting with] "Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library & Museum", to Albert Einstein, or else that some other change should be made -- such as, a change to cause the name of the field to be changed from "Author" to [something more like] "Owner".

Any comments?[edit]

Any advice or other "comments" would be appreciated. --Mike Schwartz (talk) 03:37, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]
