Russia[edit]

Why is Russia not in green? Every European country can join the EU.

It's not that easy, see en:Copenhagen criteria. --Kolja21 (talk) 00:51, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Well if you're going off of those criteria, I fail to see how Belarus complies with any of it.

Potential candidate countries[edit]

EU states with applications

Not every country that applied for membership has the status "potential candidate", see de:Erweiterung der Europäischen Union#Potenzielle Beitrittskandidaten. --Kolja21 (talk) 00:55, 18 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Adding new colors[edit]

@Sbb1413: You've changed the map. It is included in numerous articles. Since you have not adjusted the articles you create chaos. --Kolja21 (talk) 14:04, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And here (file:EU-candidate countries map.svg) you've added to the candidate countries map non candidate countries. --Kolja21 (talk) 14:18, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
BTW: What is about the en:Accession of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the European Union. "Bosnia and Herzegovina formally applied for EU membership on 15 February 2016." If you would have taken a look at the other EU maps you should have noticed it. --Kolja21 (talk) 14:45, 14 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I was trying to add three applicant countries that are not potential candidates without affecting the main map. Sbb1413 (he) (talkcontribs) 13:35, 15 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
