Sri Lanka[edit]

Sri Lanka didnt become a complete Dutch colony.Only the costal areas were adopted. The facts shown about Sri Lanka is wrong. Dutch did not at any point controlled the whole Island, In fact they lost some terrotories to Kingdom in Kandy. You may add only the costal areas to light green, but still some costal areas in Eastwas controlled by Sri Lankan kings. —Preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.189.189.68 (talk) 15:55, 9 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

This map is wrong! The Dutch East India Company proved unable to extend its control into the interior of the Ceylon (Sri Lanka) and only controlled coastal provinces. —Preceding unsigned comment was added by 203.0.171.122 (talk) 05:42, 12 January 2012‎ (UTC) (UTC)[reply]
