La Grande[edit]

La Grande is the designation Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg gave to their in-house design to add some glamour on them. Therefore, La Grande did only designing of these bodies, not their execution. These beautiful La Grande Dual Cowl Phaetons were either built at A. J. Walker ("Walker-La Grande") or A-C-D's own body shop, Central Manifacturing Co. in Connersville IN. --Chief tin cloud (talk) 19:33, 19 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
