Bad example[edit]

The picture together with its description is misleading: a diameter of a set is the least upper bound for the distance between any two points in the set, but a circle has nothing to do with it! For example, for any triangle in Euclidean space the triangle's diameter is its longest side, which is shorter for acute triangles than the diameter of the smallest circle containing the triangle. --CiaPan (talk) 10:00, 1 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
