This figure is excellent, but I have two quibbles.

  1. The "Hematocrit" label looks like it applies to the solid line, which is actually the "Platelet" curve. In figure 2.1 of the cited WHO guideline, the "Hematocrit" label is lower, next to the broken line to which it applies.
  2. The 40°C label appears oddly in my browser (Chrome), with the "C" appearing lowercase"; more importantly, the label was adjacent to a series of tick marks on the vertical axis suggesting 38, 39, and 40°C, which I think would me more clear than labeling the peak of the curve.

If this were in SVG I would edit it myself. If you don't have an SVG original from which you're creating this PNG, and would like me to create one, I would be happy to. -- Scray (talk) 13:47, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for these suggestions, I have changed the figure accordingly. Graham Colm (talk) 14:47, 7 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry I did not notice these before, but the edit summary (typo) made me look more closely in comparison with the cited WHO figure source, and I note that:
  • the third row's label "Laboratory diagnosis" does not really describe what's shown (it would be more appropriate to the next row, serology and virology); rather, the source had a more appropriate description, "Laboratory changes". If another term is desired, "Laboratory values" would work.
  • the last row does not include the source's term "phases". I think the label could accuately be changed to "Phase of dengue illness", and that would be my preference.

Well done! This figure is a valuable addition to WP/Commons. -- Scray (talk) 17:38, 8 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Typo: "Readsorption" -> "Reabsorption". Other suggestions:

  • Label other ticks for temperature, maybe the bottom one with "37 C"?
  • Match the colors of "Febrile", "Critical", and "Recovery" with the other figure.

Thanks. --Bugandhoney (talk) 20:13, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for these comments. I have changed the figure accordingly, except for adding 37 C, which doesn't quite fit the space available. Graham Colm (talk) 07:33, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
