The motto has three misspellings: should be more like Je Maintiendrai. —Tamfang 04:07, 24 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Incomplete image[edit]

Nl-arms.gif

The image in incomplete. On top of the mantle (beneath the crown) there should be a Pavillion. See the image Nl-arms.gif for details the preceding unsigned comment was added by Vlaascho (talk • contribs)

I agree, this image is not the official Dutch coat of arms and should not be used in its current form. To be honest I think SVG is not the format for this type of coat of arms with crowns and pavillion (I am a fan of vector graphics where possible; I think this is not the case here). The official version is available as PNG; please use that one. Image:NL - COA.png.Arnoutf 19:58, 29 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I discontinued its use throughout Wiki. Now this one should be removed. Arnoutf 23:40, 13 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bad file[edit]

I think retracing is not really the right solution for this coat of arms. It doesn't fit in with the other coat of arms, and it's kinda blurry on some parts. Adelbrecht (talk) 18:31, 4 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So what that it does not fit with "other coats of arms" it DOES fit with the official CoA of the Netherlands. Perhaps a surprise to many but what is out there in the world should inform Wikipedia, rather than arbitrary Wikipedia ideas being superimposed on the real world. Arnoutf, there is no official design. The design that this bad version is based on, is used most, yes. But this version smudges all the details etc. from that version. Adelbrecht Commons (talk) 19:27, 16 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
