@Ythlev: Hi Ythlev. Not sure if you're aware, but the UK has four countries, each one has its own Public Health body , NHS entity etc For example, NHS Wales, Public Health Wales...

England, one your map has been broken down to regions, and that's ok. However, for clarity, the country borders should be thicker than regional lines within England.

I hope this makes sense, but it certainly would clarify the issue. John Jones (talk) 14:57, 13 May 2020 (UTC) :It does not make sense because they are different maps. Ythlev (talk) 03:57, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ythlev: I can do it. We only need to add 2 lines (borders of Wales-England and the border of Scotland-England. At least the map will be correct. At present it is biased in that it gives equal weight to NHS areas as non-NHS regional areas. John Jones (talk) 05:50, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
I misread; I get you now. Go to [1], create an account, and submit your change. Ythlev (talk) 06:03, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Ythlev: Github would need my email, and I'm already hounded for attempting to change WP into something much more neutral, non-biased. I can however upload it to Commons; would that be acceptable? (PS Sorry taking your time like this) John Jones (talk) 07:24, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Go ahead. Ythlev (talk) 13:48, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ythlev: can take the borders from here: File:COVID-19 outbreak UK per capita cases map with country borders.svg. Many thanks! John Jones (talk) 17:05, 14 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Sources please[edit]

No links are given to the 4 sources of this map. This is highly unusual for such an important image. Please supply direct links to the exact data. John Jones (talk) 07:43, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@Ythlev: as this is such a high profile image, it needs direct links to the exact sources, otherwise I will nominate for fast deletion. John Jones (talk) 09:32, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
The link is in the description. Also, I don't care about the map or the article anymore. You fanatic nationalists can do whatever you want. Ythlev (talk) 09:40, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your reply, but the only link in the description is this one: [2] which are the number of cases. How, therefore did you calculate the 'per 10,000 residents ' of each area, without 'original research'? Secondly, that link, as far as I can see, does not say where it takes its data from ie its sources. John Jones (talk) 10:20, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
As I said, I don't care. If you don't trust the data, go ahead and remove or delete it. Ythlev (talk) 10:51, 20 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
