The word "bubonic" should be removed from this. The disease is properly known simply as "plague"; bubonic plague is only one form of it - and from what we're learning, perhaps not the most common form in the 1340s. (It seems that pneumonic plague may have been a more frequent cause of death, although that's not certain as of 2014.) --NellieBly (talk) 18:55, 28 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
