this is not a BLIND contour... Agreed. This is a contour LINE drawing, but it is definitely not a BLIND contour drawing. In Blind contour drawing, the artist does not look at the paper. It is obvious that the artist looked at the paper while she drew this image. By titling this image as a blind contour drawing, it gives drawing students a false idea of what blind contour drawings are supposed to look like. Blind contour drawings only vaguely resemble their subjects, and that is part of what is so enjoyable about doing them.
