Based on http://www.histology.leeds.ac.uk/skin/hair.php and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hair_follicle#/media/File:Hair_follicle-en.svg, I think that this diagram incorrectly labels the "hair bulb" as the "hair follicle." The histology slides suggest that follicle is the name for the part of the structure that contains cells between the inner and outer root sheath. The diagram call be fixed by changing the label to "hair bulb" and preferably adding another label as well to continue to identify the hair follicle, since that is probably the more familiar substructure to most people.
