I, who scanned the original of this card from my personal collection, have no information on the photographer/author, much less know their date of death. I therefore reverted User:Kneiphof change of the copyright template. If I am incorrect in my assumption that the change was a mistake, please inform us of the identity of the author and their date of death, thanks. -- Infrogmation 04:48, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi! I'm not copyright scolar, but I suppose that copyright term for anonimous works is 70 years after publication. So I've put PD-Old tag 'cause this image is older than 70 years and creator is not known. I apologise if my assumption of copyright status is wrong (I'm not a lawyer, after all) Kneiphof 09:52, 8 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Anonymous does not mean "We don't know who the author is". It means the author was never disclosed to the public in any way. I agree PD-old is invalid. The most likely tag is {{PD-1923}}, but this assumes the image was first published in the U.S. Superm401 - Talk 03:54, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
