What is the meaning of the green color in the map. Could Someone add this too the legend.
Should use world borders from 2002, not 2008[edit]
The original "Axis of Evil" is composed of Ba'athist Iraq, Iran, and North Korea; Ba'athist Iraq ceased to exist in January 2003, so the world borders should be those either at the time that the term was coined or the time that the Ba'athist regime fell. Of course this is a rather trivial anachronism, as the only notable border changes where Montenegro and East Timor gaining independence, and of course neither country is relevant to the subject matter. Furthermore, East Timor actually gained independence only two weeks after Bolton's "Beyond the Axis of Evil" speech and while Ba'athist Iraq still existed, so its presence is not a problem.
