Confusion of Physical Quantities[edit]

What is this information supposed to mean? Different physical quantities get mixed up here:

It’s straightforward to determine the momentum and the kinetic energy of a moving object (such as a deer relative to a car), but the force upon impact depends very much on the collision itself: both the car and the deer get deformed in a – mostly – inelastic process. --2001:16B8:17FA:3300:E805:E242:10E1:E4FC 21:58, 4 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  1. Upon closer examination, this is a surprisingly deep insight.
  2. Everybody except physicists has silently accepted that mass and weight are used interchangeably because we all live on Earth, so we all feel the same gravitation.
