Explanation for similar image?

I recently uploaded File:Souvenir information guide and directory - A.Y.P. Exposition memorandum and daily calendar - Page 38.jpg. I can't find a way to explain it. The resemblence to this image is almost exact, right down to the positions of the flags and marchers, except the billboard is different! Was the image modified after the fact for the purpose of advertisement, or something? Dcoetzee (talk) 03:20, 1 May 2009 (UTC)
