If this image was freely released, why does the photographers own site continue to claim that it is -NC? --Gmaxwell 13:47, 30 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I own the rights to this photo, and I also operate the alcazarmountain.com website as Eddie. I have released a version of the photograph to wikipedia under the GFDL, and there is a version on Alcazar Mountain that is under the creative commons non-commercial share-alike license. This might seem bizarre but it is perfectly legitimate. The issue is that any photo I publish on my website is automatically placed under the CC-NC-SA license yet sometimes I choose to publish the photo on wikipedia under the GFDL as well. If I think the photo is worthy. Anomity 17:52, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
