Dear Secondarywaltz

I did upload original artwork. Here are two photos, the first is the Village Voice ad from 1992

the ad in the paper

notice it is square, and small

Now here is the artwork I made which served as a model for the final ad, this is what I'd posted to replace the ad in the paper

I think you will see it is my own work, I am not lying to you. The Village Voice ad is square and small, my model is rectangular and the size of a sheet of paper.

Perhaps you thought is was taken from a newspaper because, in 1992 I had to have the advertisement dot screened (which predated computer graphics, or at least what I had to work with at the time)

I have sent a longer letter to permission-commons with many other photos showing the ads and my mockup version. I hope you will accept these as proof of my honesty in this matter.
