It's possible the car is a custom vehicle. The plane VH-UFA was operating c. 1934 - see [1]. According to a newspaper item, in 1935, the QATB were constructing their own cars. "Considerable interest is taken in other States in the design of the cars used by the Queensland Ambulance Transport Brigade. Following the building of one for the Commonwealth Department of Health at Canberra, the New South Wales Ambulance Service at Lismore has purchased a body of similar type, and in inquiry has also been received from the Ambulance Organisation in Western Australia." Another reference for custom QATB vehicles: [3] The QATB also seem to have historically driven Arrol Johnsons which have similarities to the car in the image - see [4] Zipzipzip (talk) 20:50, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The QATB were driving Buicks in 1924. [5] Zipzipzip (talk) 21:49, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

For an example of a QATB custom body on an Austin 20 chassis, see [6] Zipzipzip (talk) 13:27, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

According to this 1932 article[7], QATB also drove Graham-Paiges. Looking at the Graham-Paige category, the car appears to be very similar to the Graham-Paige Model 610 4-Door Sedan. [[8]] Zipzipzip (talk) 22:08, 12 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
