It seems, that the shaft is slightly reddish - especially on its lower part. Hence, I guess that the mushroom on the picture is probably not Amanita pantherina. In my opinion Amanita rubescens is most likely. Regards, C. Stieghorst.

Hello. For me this is definitely an Amanita rubescens, not an A. pantherina. Apart from the reddish tinges, the scales are like A. rubescens (not white). I will change the identification if there is no objection. Strobilomyces (talk) 20:24, 1 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
