Date Stamps[edit]

I have a large number of these date-stamped images. I was encouraged to upload them anyway by folks at the village pump.

Anything I can crop, I will. This one (and most of them) I don't think look as good if I crop the date out. I'm not extremely skilled at removing the date stamp via manipulation either.

You, my friend who is looking at the Category:Images with watermarks, how will you fix this image and advise me on similar images? Should I ignore the date stamps ? Should I tag all my images with the watermark tag ? -- Mrrxx 02:46, 12 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

After asking around, I discovered the {{ifc|explanation}} tag and have retagged it that way. Basically, I don't want the image cropped and this allows me to specify that. After seeing the backlog in the watermark category of 3+ months I wasn't going to wait for someone to do it either. -- Mrrxx 02:10, 13 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
