Correct date?[edit]

It's hard to believe this was taken on the Jerusalem railway tracks in 1980, as the train was operating until 1998. The Flicker page says nothing about this image being taken at Mekor Chaim. Yoninah (talk) 17:06, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

i think the EXIF date is wrong, but i'm pretty sure that it is the railway along Mekor Haim because it is part of a collection of photos taken on the same day by the same author where we can see clearly that is taken there (look on Google street for the location of these photos) Djampa (talk) 17:19, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Yoninah, I agree with Djampa. The camera date was not updated to the correct date, and it certainly not 1 January 1980, 00:00. I have checked the upload date to Flickr which was 18 February 2011 so it was taken shortly before that time.-- Geagea (talk) 19:10, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:Djampa, User:geagea, thank you both for your quick response and investigative work. The 2000s make much more sense. Now I can use it in the new article I'm uploading for Wikipedia, en:Train Track Park (Jerusalem). Best, Yoninah (talk) 19:12, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Good Luck. -- Geagea (talk) 19:20, 23 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
