Description From the Zippo Website: "In early 1995 a replaceable battery pack to be installed into any standard size Zippo lighter case to produce a handy pocket flashlight was added to the promotional product line. What started as the "ZIPLITE" for the company's district manangers only soon was renamed "zipLight" with a initial pilot production run given to all employees on May 15, 1995 in order to test it as a daily user and give feedback within three weeks & in late summer the production started".
