English: De Blaak, in the foreground the intersection with the Coolsingel and the Schiedamse Vest, on the right where the Bijenkorf stood at the Schiedamse Vest, the Erasmus House (HBU - Building) with Café-Restaurant Erasmus, the Schielandshuis / Historical Museum and Modemagazine Gerzon at the Korte Hoogstraat, behind it office building De Hoofdpoort (Van Marle Concern / City Rotterdam Verzekeringen) under construction. In the background right: the Amsterdamsche Bank, the Dutch trade company and the Twentsche Bank. Year: 1961.
