Description
English: Steam flour mills Hellemans, built in 1910, was located on this site. The bag slide started on the top floor and ended on the ground floor. After the factory was closed, the bag slide became a favorite playground for children from the neighborhood. This authentic wooden slide pays tribute to the industrial past of the Bloemmolens site.
Nederlands: Stoombloemmolens Hellemans, gebouwd ín 1910, was op deze site gevestigd. De zakkenschuif begon op de hoogste verdieping en eindigde op het gelijkvloers. Na de sluiting van de fabriek werd de zakkenschuif een favoriete speelplek voor kinderen uit de buurt. Deze authentieke houten schuif is een eerbetoon aan het industriële verleden van de Bloemmolens-site.
