Français : Youqua, avant 1844. Une dame, sa jeune servante et un jeune homme dans un intérieur. Huile sur toile, 45 x 60 cm. Peinture chinoise d'exportation, d'une série de 18 au musée de La Rochelle. Dépôt du Musée national de la Marine, 1923. Youqua (peintre chinois) utilisait la peinture à l'huile sous l'influence d'un peintre anglais, Georges Chinnery (1774-1851). À Canton, il avait créé un atelier de peinture, à l'huile et à l'aquarelle, "à la gouache sur papier dit de riz" (en réalité sur papier de moelle de sureau ou sur feuille de catalpa) et de dessins au trait. Il est considéré comme le plus important peintre de port chinois au milieu du 19e siècle. Les scènes de genre étaient peut-être peintes par des assistants, sous a tutelle.
