Description |
English: Ferd Brady settled in Marysville, Washington, in the early 1900s. He worked for a photographer in Everett and then opened his own studio in Marysville. In 1926, Brady moved to Anacortes, where he spent the rest of his life documenting city buildings, automobile accidents, shipbuilding, the Tulalip Reservation, graduating high school seniors and many other aspects of area life.
This photographic postcard, made by Ferd Brady, shows a group of young women posing by stacks of canned food in what appears to be a classroom. Judging by the marks on the photographic paper, Brady probably made the photo in the 1910s.
