| Description |
English: You Know It's Cold When.... You know it's cold when there's ice in Girvan Harbour. Being located on the normally mild south-west coast of Scotland, this amount of ice is not a common sight. Compare it with 1068570, taken in December 2008. The Mersey Class lifeboat on the left is stationed at Girvan, the Trent Class lifeboat on the right is visiting the local shipyard. |
