Description
English: YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- Staff Sgt. Zachary Arbuckle, 374th Maintenance Squadron Aircraft Metals Technology craftsman, cuts through a sheet of metal using a plasma cutter at Yokota Air Base, Japan, May 14, 2013. The tip of the plasma cutter can reach temperatures of 25,000 degrees Fahrenheit. Plasma cutters can cut through different metals and thicknesses depending on its rating. The one seen here can cut through an inch of steel.
