Русский: Тонвал и маховик советского катушечного магнитофона Яуза-209-1. Диаметр 94 мм, вес около 700 г. На верхнем конце оси тонвал (со следами "пробега по России"), на нижнем выемка под шарик, на котором собственно всё это и вращается. Демонтаж тонвала и блока головок, увы, необходим при замене главного пассика. Заодно можно и смазку шарика обновить.
English: The capstan-flywheel assembly of a Soviet Yauza-209-1 reel-to-reel tape recorder. Diametr = 94 mm, weighs around 700 g. The top end of the shaft is the capstan (visible signs of wear but it's not really bad), the bottom has a recess for a single ball which carries the whole assembly. The capstan is driven via an idler wheel touching the outer rim of the flywhee in play mode. The pulley is for driving the takeup reel. The flywheel must be removed, along with the head block and a few other things, when replacing the belt. Luckily, there is only one belt.
