downhill view of wind artifact, seen in Arctic marble formation en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yardang why here? high and dry with no vegetation, soft rock, near-vertical bedding and lots of wind erosion. There is an abundance of small marble formations locally so there may be more yardangs about, but no others turned up during this day's hike. |
