Description

c/n 31231015. Previously marked as ’15 green’. Powered by a copy of the Rolls Royce Derwent engine, the Yak-23 was developed from the earlier Yak-17. 310 were built and the type entered Soviet service in 1949, being finally retired, from the Polish Air Force, in 1956. On display at the Central Air Force museum, Monino, Moscow Oblast, Russia.
