Stamp of the Yemen Arab Republic (North Yemen); 1968; commemorative stamp of the issue "Paintings by Raphael - golden border"; stamp motive shows the painting "La Velata" (other titles: "La Velada", "La donna velata", "Woman with a veil"... etc.) by Raffaello Sanzio (1483-1520), however probably painted by an unknown artist from Raffaelo's atelier; Any authors are taking the view that the depicted person is "La Fornarina" (= "The little bakeresse" or "The little daughter of a baker"), her correct name was Margherita Luti, Raffaelo's Roman lover.; The painting was created in 1516 in the style of the Italian Early Renaissance and is actual located in the "Galleria Palatina" of the "Palazzo Pitti" in Florence (Italy).; stamp postmarked
